Please pray for all the coalition troops in harm's way representing not only the USA but many other cooperating countries of the world. These brave men and women deserve our love, support and prayers for their bravery and courage in this fight against the evil in our world. We support and honor them all.
Almighty Commander, In this time of need as our troops bleed and die in order to liberate those created in Your image, we declare our dependence upon You on behalf of them. So does our President. And for good reason. These we love are brave, but human. They are strong, but also weak. And while they seek a speedy end to this necessary evil we seek Your face, O God. Protect our daughters and sons as bombs explode and guns fire around them. Give them clarity of purpose amid casualties (both military and civilian). Cure their homesickness with a sense of Your Presence. Nourish their hunger for peace. Renew their confidence in the cause for which they fight. Revive their flagging spirits as You remind them of the values for which our Banner stands. One nation, under You, with liberty and justice for all. --Copyright 2003 by Rev. Our men and women in Iraq
are under stress and fierce attack.
They need our prayers regardless
how we feel about the war.
Defending freedom far from home
our troops can sometimes feel alone
and when their mission is maligned
they wonder why theyıre there.
The risk is real as terror thrives.
Just add up all whoıve lost their lives
in liberating helpless ones
who dream of being free.
Theyıre strong and brave, at times afraid.
But they take heart to hear weıve prayed
for health and safety, faith and peace
and courage to keep on.
Donıt let them down. Itıs up to us.
Weıre called to pray. We simply must.
Our gallant soldiers look to us
as we look to our God.

The war is over (so they say). So why do troops still die? The death toll's mounting day by day and critics wonder "why?" "Why did we go to war?" they ask. "Why can't we find Hussein?" "Why can't we find those missing nukes?" "Why not in heaven's name?" "Why can't our soldiers leave Iraq?" "Why must they linger there?" "Why doesn't Bush say 'That's enough'?" "Why can't he seem to care?" But, maybe those who criticize should understand the score. What's going on is not a game. It's gruesome, bloody war. There are no halves or innings. There are no rules or refs. And unlike golf there is no prize when there is sudden death. In some ways it's like Calvary when Christ defeated sin. Our foe was wounded and he'll die and when he does, we'll win. But in the meantime we're on guard for mines and sneak attacks. Our victory is guaranteed, but we must watch our backs. --by Greg Asimakoupoulos: The Pastor is a Writer! The Partial Observer - Rhymes and Reasons

+ + + + + Please note that while I strongly adhere to major tenets of the evangelical Christian faith, I may not personally agree with every specific doctrinal belief set forth in other Christian pages. I do want to provide a diversity of links and resource material for the entire Body of Christ to enjoy, and trust you will view it as such.
