For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of thy wings. Selah. (Psalm 61:1-4)."
"Father in heaven, hear the prayers of Your people this day. We pray for our military prepared to defend our freedom. Protect them and their loved ones back home. Bring a quick resolution to this crisis--and may Your Name--and the call to peace and the freedom You give be heard around the world this day.
Comfort the grieving; comfort Your people, heal our land. Awaken America to its need of You--awaken OUR hearts to pray and intercede for a revival of godly sorrow, repentance and new commitment to God; may a revival of righteousness sweep across our land. Bring America back to God, In Christ's Name, Amen."
The storm raged. The disciples in the boat ran for their Lord, asleep in the back of the boat. "Lord, we drown; help us!" You remember well the story. He arose, the Mighty Man who made the sea. "Peace, be still!" He called and the winds and waves obeyed. Better yet, He calmed the winds and waves deep within the heart of each man in the storm. That's our Lord--He's a Peacemaker - and He's here at Peggie's Place to bring peace to your heart--peace in a time of approaching war in our world--and peace in whatever war is now raging in your own personal world. He whispers, "Peace, be still."

"Our Sole Escape"
So anti-terror kits are in.
Does that mean prayer is out?
The Lord reigns from His sovereign throne
He knows what He's about.
Should we trust plastic sheeting?
Will duct tape save our lives?
Our sole escape is God alone
when germ clouds fill the skies.
He wants us to be prudent.
Survival gear is good.
But just cause some are running scared,
is that what Christians should?
Our hope is in the Prince of Peace
when nations go to war.
While some despair, let's look to Him
for wisdom, health and more.
