Ever hear about the mom who caught her little preschooler standing atop a Holy Bible? "NO, we do not stand on the Bible," Mom explained. "That is God's Holy Word." The child quickly explained, "But, Mommy, that's how we learned it in Sunday school--"...I stand alone on the Word of God, the B-I-B-L-E!"

We smile, not just at the story, but remembering the song ourselves! For, if you were taken to Sunday school as a little kid, "The B-I-B-L-E" was one of the first songs you learned....I don't have documentation for THIS one--but I would not be surprised if our President-elect George W. Bush learned it too, just as we did!

Now we DO know that on Inauguration Day, President-elect Bush will place his hand on a historic Holy Bible, the same one his dad, President George Bush, used; the same one that George Washington and several other presidents used--and he will swear unto Almighty God to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America, "so help me, God."

From generation to generation, we revere God's Holy Word...from a child we learn the Holy Scriptures which make "men wise unto salvation." We may not have a millionnaire's inheritance to leave our kids someday--but if we've trained and nurtured them in the ways of the Lord, and taught them to love and live by God's laws, they will be rich indeed!

A loving mom and dad passed on God's Word to me--now that's what *I* want to pass on to MY kids, how about you! May they stand upon the principles of the Word of the Living God--when they do, they will not fall for every whim of false doctrine, nor will they fall prey to the enemy of their soul. Root and ground your family in the Word of God - let us all pledge to do the same--"so help me, God!"
