Hold the presses
and let go of your grip
on the way things used to be.
Can't you see?
It's a brand new day for would-be writers.
Thanks to the worldwide web
there are fresh new ways
for telling the old, old story.
You don't need a publisher.
You don't need a book contract.
In fact, all you need is a computer
and internet access.
If you've a story to tell to the nations,
you have at your fingertips (and keyboard)
the means to "speed the light."
No editor's nod of approval is necessary.
All that's required to publish your glad tidings
in an attempt to rescue the perishing
is the cost of a local call.
That's all.
Just type on your computer
what it means to be set free.
Then go ahead and e-mail
what you've written and you'll see
how fast your story travels
in the realm of cyberspace.
It's amazing how those "forwards"
span the globe explaining grace.
Electronically speaking
it's a renaissance in print.
Everyday your work is published
through the e-mails that are sent.
So keep writing well-phrased stories
that explain our common need.
Then rejoice that God will use them.
Thanks to e-mail, people read.

A message from Dr. George Flattery
"Christian writers, we have a huge open door before us."
"There is a silent explosion going on all around us. To those attune to it the sound is deafening. To those not involved the sound is unheard. The explosion includes people of all nationalities, young and older urban and even remote. The impact is strident, pervasive, and strong. Cultures are being changed, governments shaken, economics impacted by the rapid movement of funds, and religions are being challenged. Terrorists are operating at will. It's all happening-my colleagues--on the Internet! This powerful tool begs to be used in the cause of the Great Commission. Christian writers, we have a huge open door before us. May God guide us to "seize the moment," to light up the Internet with truth, and to fulfill God's great mandate."

This Christian home has been visited a zillion times
since December 26, 1995!
Well, not quite, but there HAS been a houseful--and
STILL room for one more--YOU!
The Christian Counter scans the entire site--and there's plenty of chocolate for everyone--so enjoy!
Please note that while I strongly adhere to major tenets of the evangelical Christian faith, I may not personally agree with every specific doctrinal belief set forth in other Christian pages. I do want to provide a diversity of links and resource material for the entire Body of Christ to enjoy, and trust you will view it as such.A safety tip: Internet links and material may include other links and/or material which do not reflect my Christian views or yours. Please choose wisely and use with discretion! And if you find an ugly spider hiding in a dark corner, you may smash it with a broom from my BROOM CLOSET--I hate offensive stuff too!
