A Hurting Word...

Now, of course, I'm not a prophet--but I *can* predict certain things--what son number one will say when I tell him to clean his apartment; what son number two will say when I tell him to clean the man-cave; and of course, what husband number one will say when wife number one tells him she wants to go shopping...

And I *can* promise you some fun hints for a happy new year--that's what this devotional is all about. Let's lighten up abit--we've already eaten too much holiday food anyway--and enjoy these predictions 'n promises--a number of fun 'n faith links--prepared just for you!

A Helping Word...or Two!

H eavenly--'cause the Lord of The Nine Planets--and the universe--is in charge!

A ttached 24-7--to life on the spider's WEB --and loving it! -- 'Cause I'm an Internet Christian and proud of it!

P uzzled--and when I don't know all the answers, I'll just try another puzzle! - or better yet, I'll ask Him!

P layful--OK, forget the Sudoku puzzles! My brain is tired and I'm gonna have some fun!

Y oung-at-heart--regardless of today's weather!

N ice--I will be kind to someone each day! I might even make a new friend on Facebook!

E nergetic 'n eager--I will take time to walk and learn something new each day!

W ord-lover--I will love His Word and endeavor to read it each day!

Y ummy--I'm a woman and I'm gonna look as good as I can and eat as much pasta and chocolate as I want!

E xhausted-- I will first go to my favorite buffet for a spiritual feast--and then I will take a long nap!

A wesome--'cause I belong to Him, The Indescribable Christ who never fails!

R adical--'cause Jesus is my Master Craftsman --and He's not finished working on me yet!

That is MY prediction...now, here is HIS promise!

His Healing Word

"But the land, to which ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven, A land which the Lord thy God careth for. The eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year (Deuteronomy 11:11,12 (KJV)."

"Lord, here is a brand new year, and I give it to you. Be Lord of everything I think, say, and do. My predictions are fun, but Lord, Your promises are true. You have promised "never to leave nor forsake me" and I trust You--a God Who keeps His promises! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
