Kids have great imaginations! I remember long ago when our preschool son Joey learned the Sunday school song, "Peter, James and John in a Sailboat." Little was I to know what would follow next in my lovely kitchen! For one day he "escaped" from mom's eye, pulled up a chair to the kitchen sink, filled and re-filled a glass of water, only to pour it, glass by glass, on the kitchen floor.
A real mess for Mom as you can IMAGINE--but not for Joey! In his mind's eye, he was "Jesus," walking on the water as he plopped through the water singing, "Jesus came and He walked on the water...out on the deep blue sea." My kitchen floor became the Sea of Galilee, my innocent little preschooler became Jesus, and my, what a fun time Joey had--until Mama caught him! Now HOW do you scold a little kid with a big imagination like that!
We're all little kids at heart! Remember watching the billowy clouds floating by in the sky? Only they were not clouds--they were flowers and castles and animals--and maybe a big pizza (which I'm craving right now...grin). It's fun to have a great imagination and use it well, but I know someone else who's got a really big imagination--and it's no fun to experience what HE does with it! Come to the well and eavesdrop. Old slewfoot is whispering in the ear of any Christian who wants to listen, believe and then repeat his lies....and Christ is about to CAST DOWN every imagination he has ever uttered! Come watch the duel--and guess who wins!

Begone, thou whisperer of woes! Jesus Christ, the way, the TRUTH and the life, is our Lord. His Word is true and in HIS name, we command you to flee! We choose this day to block out your lying words, to open our hearts and spirits to the true Word of God. You can "imagine THAT" all you want, devil--we choose to listen to our Lord!
