Top o' the mornin' to ye from your MEDITERRANEAN Irish devo writer--that's the closest I get to being Irish, unless you catch my "multi-bred" Irish/German/Swiss/whatever husband devouring the corn beef and cabbage dinner he begged from me this week! No offense, but NOTHING beats spaghetti and meatballs! AND I must further confess that WHATEVER kind of Irish I am--or am not, "a Saint I ain't!" (that's with a capital "S"!) I'll leave that one to Saint Patrick and other godly people down through the centuries who well earned the title! But do not despair for...

A "saint" I am, by the grace of God! And a "saint" YOU are too, by the grace of God. No matter how imperfect or inadequate our sainthood may be in the home, the church, the workplace and the world (let's be honest!), whenever we kneel at the Cross, by HIS righteousness alone, we ARE saints, accepted, chosen, and perfect in Him. We are saints beloved and blessed of God, shining lights in a world of darkness, serving Him with hearts of love and desire. So whether you wear green today or not, whether your halo tips a bit or not, KNOW that you are a saint in God's eyes....and that's ALL that matters! Believe it, and saints around the world--have a great GREEN glorious day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith (Philippians 3:9). "

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, some days I certainly don't feel like a saint--but help me remember that in YOUR eyes, I am; that I have been declared righteous and holy by Your Blood--and it is in YOUR righteousness I, the imperfect saint, stand today. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
