Opposites attract....and sometimes, that's delightful - but not THIS opposite! The opposite of HOPE is DESPAIR....and Americans have had their share these past days. The economy is in serious trouble; may God help us all!But let's bring it down to size.....what about you and me as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ? We look to the Lord - and to His Word, especially the Psalms where David's words seem so real you'd think he lived just down the street from us and had read the morning paper!
God is still on the Throne; He guides the affairs of men (not a PUN, for sure) and He is in control. Visit "The Blessed Hope of the Church" and be encouraged by a very old sermon, preached many years ago by my dear dad.
The tape may be old - but the words are as true and up-to-date as FOX News! Enjoy - and be enouraged.....Our Heavenly Father watches over us this day!
