A man was walking home alone late one night when he hears a BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... behind him.Walking faster he looks back, and makes out the image of an upright coffin banging its way down the middle of the street towards him.
BUMP... BUMP... BUMP...
Terrified, the man begins to run towards his home, the coffin bouncing quickly behind him ...
faster... faster... BUMP... BUMP... BUMP...
He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him.
However, the coffin crashes through his door, with the lid of the coffin clapping...
clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP...
on the heels of the terrified man.
Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps.
With a loud CRASH the coffin starts breaking down the door. Bumping and clapping towards him.
The man SCREAMS and reaches for something heavy, anything .. his hand comes to rest on a large bottle of Robitussin.
Desperate, he throws the Robitussin as hard as he can at the apparition... and...
the coffin stops! Because everyone know Robitussin stops the coffin (coughing)!

1 Samuel 28:7 - "Saul then said to his attendants, 'Find me a woman who is a medium...."
I was in the Los Angeles airport when a remarkable young woman walked by. She had long hair that was sprayed to stand straight up. I thought, "Boy, I am glad that I will not have to talk to her!"
I boarded a plane to Denver, and... would you believe she was sitting right next to me? I was annoyed. Unlike saintly people who pray that they will sit by an unsaved person on a plane so that they can lead them to the Lord, I always ask God to put me next to someone that He does not need me to talk to so that I can get some rest. I know that that is selfish. I thought, "At least someone like her will never want to talk to someone like me." Well, I was wrong!
This young lady started telling me the story of her life. She was the owner of a store that sold nothing but garments made of hemp. She was deeply interested in ecology, third world enterprise, and world peace. She was searching for the power behind the universe. She had just attended a demonstration of spiritual forces put on by a famous medium. She told me about the manifestations of spirits that this medium could produce. She wanted to harness that power for herself.
God's spirit flooded me with love for her. I do not do so great in personal witnessing, but I told her about my own experiences with spiritism in college. When the plane landed, I handed her my card and told her, "When that power that you are seeking turns against you--call me."
That is when she will want to know about Christ.
