Thanksgiving...a holiday word we all know...thankful hearts, good food, great desserts, family gatherings. In today's world, it's become a HURTING word.....job losses, bank closings, business losses, mortgage foreclosures, budgets that only strrretch so far--on top of the "normal" stresses of life--grief, broken families, illness, catastrophic events.....
"I should be THANKful?? Are you kidding?? My resources, let alone America's, look like they are shutting down! "Recession" is not a happy word. It hurts -- I'm broke and I'm afraid!
