"In the beginning," on Day Six to be precise, God created a mind-boggling, multi-dimensional puzzle--man and woman--and men and women ever since have been trying to figure out how to make the puzzle pieces fit--emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually. It's the game of a lifetime--God knows it, patiently watches us try to put it all together, and helps us along the way--when we ask!Today's puzzle is a phenomenal one, for top world scientists have recently announced a scientific breakthrough in the puzzle of man ("woman" they'll never figure out...grin!). My husband, the high-ranking scientist in our family, tried to explain it to me last night--let me recite what I learned! Man is made up of cells, each of which has a DNA structure unique to each person. Within that DNA structure are common components or codings to which we all relate. It is within those minute codings called "genomes" where there has been a great scientific breakthrough, revealing the blueprinted structure of human cells in an exciting way, never before known to man. As a result of this major discovery, the conclusive study of years of research, scientists are now hopeful to be able to track down and treat diseases BEFORE they happen...Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, MS, and more. What an amazing development--most of which I don't understand--but for which we will all be very grateful!
Are you a Christian? Then be doubly grateful, for you know personally the Creator of the puzzle--and He knows you--every minute part of you--emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. You're no puzzle to Him, no matter how complicated your life may seem this day. For He's not only the Creator of the puzzle, He's the Solver of the Puzzle! As we give the unsolvable puzzles of our lives to Him, He sorts it all out, puts it together and makes "something beautiful" out of the jigsaw pieces of our lives. He can do it for you today--if you'll give the puzzle to Him. Believe it--do it--and have a wonderful day!

Lord, my life is one gigantic jigsaw puzzle, and there's no way I can ever put it together. Jagged pieces here and there that don't fit--I've tried--and I sure can't solve it on my own. You made me, You know me, You love me--so Creator of all that I am and ever hope to be, will you please take over the puzzle. Put the pieces back together to make "something beautiful" of my life. I give the puzzle to you this day! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
