Are you a loser? Oh, I don't mean a "loser" as in "I'm no good--gonna go eat worms"--I mean do you lose THINGS? Join my club--there are days when I lose my messages, my memory, my cool, my car keys, my sainthood, and almost my sanity--all in one day! You know exactly what I mean--you've been there, or are there NOW!

Ever lose your JOY? Now that's devastating...and there are days when you feel anything but joyful. The stresses of life can mount up pretty fast, strrrrretching you to the limit, and losing your joy is the last straw! But wait a minute....you've not LOST it! It's there, hiding underneath all the junk that life's situations, stresses--and Satan--have piled on top of you. So what to do?

Dig deep enough--use the tools God gave you--His Word, prayer, a song--and service to someone else--and you will find that well of salvation springing up to bring life, strength and joy to your soul. God gave it to you when you entered His family. And it's yours even on the days when you feel like climbing under the covers and staying there! The "covers" aren't your refuge--Christ is!! He's your strength, your song and your salvation...you can hide in Him and have His joy deep within.

SO rise up in the Name of the Lord and let HIM bring back the joy. The joy that HE gives is eternal--it's from heaven above and does not depend on earthly circumstances. HE is your source...and HE can bring back what Satan's tried to steal. There's life and joy in the Lord today as you reach out to Him. You're no LOSER--you're a winner! Believe it and have a wonderful day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation... (Psalm 51:12)."

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

Lord, wherever that joy is hiding under all the debris in my heart, BRING IT BACK! Let me feel once again the wonder of my salvation, the awesomeness of Your love, the beauty of Your grace--and then, from deep within, let that fountain of joy spring up once again to strengthen my soul--and to bless my world! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
