When Heaven Turned On the Heat!

Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way

It is cold in Moldova, Eastern Europe, this week--no, edit that! It was SUPPOSED to be cold in Moldova (Eastern Europe), this week. For a strange phenomenon has just occurred, something no earthly weatherman can explain. But I can--for I heard the story--it's a tall tale, and it's true! And if you're not yet awake this morning, you're about to be awakened REAL good!

Moldova depends on the Soviet Union for its fuel, and ultimately its supply of gasoline, electricity and water--all critical needs in winter time in eastern Europe. Suddenly the supply was cut off and Moldova found itself stranded--no heat, no electricity, no water, a crisis of monumental proportions. A Pentecostal pastor faxed an urgent prayer request to friends in the USA last week, "Please pray for Moldova. It is critical. It is cold. We need heat." People prayed--God heard. This week the pastor faxed another message. "Praise God...something wonderful has happened. It is 19 degrees, Celsius, (or SIXTY degrees Fahrenheit) in Moldova! We still have no fuel supplies--but GOD has turned up the heat! God has done a miracle!"

I can hear a Pentecostal pastor shouting all the way across the Atlantic, can't you? What a wonderful God we serve--One who is well able to meet YOUR need too. He did a miracle in Moldova--and He can do it for you. Believe it--begin praising Him and have a great day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)."

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, we praise You for Your almighty power--for answered prayer in the crises of our lives. You come on the scene, and the scene changes, because You are God. Today I need a miracle and I come to You in simple faith, believing what You did in Moldova, You can do for me. Thank You, Lord, in advance, for the miracle You are about to do in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
