Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way THE LAZY, HAZY DAYS OF S.U.M.M.E.R.!!

"For everything there is a season... (Ecclesiastes 3:1)."

What's YOUR favorite season of the year? Spring, with its new blossoms of life springing up everywhere? Or maybe, it's fall with the lovely autumn hues that God with His paintbrush splashes over the trees...or winter may be your favorite, with freshly fallen snow making a winter wonderland wherever you look. Only one season left to talk about--and it's ALMOST over--SUMMER with its beaches, vacations, picnics, holidays and fun. SUMMER with the kids home, lawns to mow, heat, humidity, air conditioning bills, long lines at amusement parks, long lines at ice cream stands--and back-to-school August sales!
Whatever your favorite--or LEAST favorite--season (and I love them all!), know that there is a never-changing Lord who sees the year--from the beginning to the end--who will be with you in each season of your life--whether the winds blow fiercely, or the sun shines unbearably; whether the rains fall or the snow flies...He will be there in all the seasons of life.
So whether you are in the middle of a wonderful season, or thinking a dreadful season will never end--remember, it is all "for a season" and this too shall pass. HE remains! Enjoy His presence during the remaining "lazy, hazy days of summer" and enjoy the devotionals I've planned for you below--as I head to Kansas City for a few days....Why don't you join me there with some of the links (scroll down below) to the famous spots in this great midwestern city!
