Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way
If your week is starting off as mine, you have my sympathy! Hassles everywhere I turn--enough to make a woman want to shut off her computer and just go shopping...grin! Ever have a day like that? So what's a Christian to do? Cursing is out (I sure hope so!); going on an eating binge is out (your doctor would hope so!); screaming doesn't help (I've tried that...grin). Hassles are not helpful and they're sure not heavenly.....so what IS the Christian response? How DOES a Christian handle the hassles of life? Think hard!
Thinking hard on that one is easy for me. You see, my dear Christian mom, now with the Lord, had a favorite verse for this emotional, Italiano, Christian daughter of hers--and it is my verse to you today--don't peek yet! Just know that THIS is God's answer not only for the "heavies" of life but also for the "hassles" of life that happen to us all. We've got to hang on to God's reliable Word in the awesome days--AND the awful days! "And it came to pass"--one of MY favorite Scriptures! Believe it--now scroll below to see "Mom's Verse of the Day for Her Daughter"--and for YOU--and have a "Heaven-handle-this-one," victorious day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6,7)."
Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day
"Lord, it's one of those days when nothing goes right. It's a people problem that happens to us all, and it's really happening to me today. I just can't handle one more hassle this day--will you please take them all, and give me YOUR peace? Thank You, Lord, In Jesus Name, Amen."
