Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way

"Sorry...I was grumpy!" read an email note to me the other day. Grumpy? I didn't remember at all, and I graciously responded that it was ok--that I really did not even remember the wrong. Reminds me of our Lord who doesn't remember our sins. They are cast into the sea of His forgetfulness, never to be recalled against us again. HE doesn't remember--so why should we!

One thing I love about God--He forgets the grumps and grievances--but He doesn't forget the "grump!" If that's your tag today, know that even on your worst days, He still loves and accepts you. Now I'm sure He'd like you to change those grumps to gladness today (and so would the people with whom you live and work!), but He's not cast you aside. He's with you on the grumpy days as well as the great days....so take it to Him today. Tell Him what's bothering you, and let Him turn it all around. He can do it if you'll let Him, and you'll feel a lot better--so will the rest of the world who have to live with you!

P.S. AND...if you just happen to be living or working with someone who's a grand old grump today, give him the biggest smile ever. Take him to lunch, buy her some chocolate, give her a hug--do something kind--for as God accepts you, you can accept others. Believe it--and have a great, grand, no-grump day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, Your love is so amazing. You know and understand me--when I'm grumpy, when I'm glad--and You love me the same. Thank You for your grace--help me to extend that same grace to someone who needs it today. In Jesus Name, Amen."
