Well, there was DELIGHTFUL news out of Washington one year, would you believe--and it was not about politics--or the current crisis pray--it was about panda bears! We welcomed two young panda bears from China to our National Zoo...Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, and they attracted almost as much attention as the US Senate! They play, fight, eat and sleep--much like us all--bamboo instead of burgers, but hey, it's what pandas eat, and it's OK!

I've got a zoo of sorts in my office these days too--my son Jason, an "origami" expert, has made the most delightful little animals that now live on a bookshelf in my office...each one created from one piece of paper, a real work of art...and quite appropriate for this office--and this home--which CAN be like a zoo!

Oh, you relate? You live in the ZOO of life too? Welcome--come on in; I'll serve tea and chocolate as we laugh, talk and cry in our crazy abode! We're in this together--for whatever is going on in your life is not much different than mine--smiles, tears, fears, failures, worries, wonders...and what's for dinner! Listen closely as the zoo tram zooms through the park--you may hear a bear growl, a lion roar, a monkey screech--it can get pretty wild here--but just smile and be glad you--and they--are alive and well in this zoo called life!

We're not alone--God oversees the entire operation of the panda PEOPLE--the playing, the fighting, the eating, the sleeping--He's a Heavenly Father concerned with everything that concerns us...and it's going to be ALL RIGHT. So whatever "panda-monium" is going on in YOUR zoo right now, remember that He knows and He will see you through. Now believe it--pass the popcorn--go play with the pandas (see link below)--and have a GREAT day in YOUR zoo, wherever on Planet Earth it may be!
