The wind is blowing--well, it's March, why not! For although it's a beautiful sunny spring day in the Ozarks where I live, somewhere in our world, it is blowing people away!! March is known for its blowing, blustery winds - it comes in like a lion and is about to go out as a lamb--we hope--UNLESS you live in Chicago USA where the wind must blow ALL the time, hence, the title, "Windy City, USA!"

But I know another "wind" that's blowing across our WORLD--the wind of the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It knows no boundaries nor restrictions. It blows into countries, states, cities, through cyberspace--and right into our own hearts, where He, the blessed third Person of the Trinity, abides--to give us His power, His purity, and His peace. What do you need from Him today? Let His wonderful wind blow through your spirit and soul until the very presence of God supercedes any problem you have--until HIS power, HIS purity, and HIS peace become personal to you. Accept it THIS day--and have a wonderful "windy" day--wherever in the world you live!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"And suddenly there came a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting (Acts 2:2)."

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, I need to feel the wind of the Holy Spirit in my life today. I need His peace, His purity, His power to overcome the human weaknesses and woes I face in MY world every day. Help me to experience that energizing work of God in my own life; may I know that You abide within in all Your strength and power to take care of WHATEVER is going on in my life today. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
