The headline read, "Satan adds laughs, chills to Halloween movies" (Springfield News-Leader, October 21, 2000)--no surprise! That's his game! And on Halloween, I'm here to declare that for once, he's right!--for he'll laugh you to scorn; he'll chill you to death; he'll thrill you on a ride right to the pit--but HE is doomed! His demise is certain--I've read the end of the Book and we win. Jesus was, is and shall be LORD forevermore!
KNOW that Satan, the mad mathematician, is out to add sin to your life, subtract joy from your soul, divide your home and multiply your mess--if you let him! Don't let the masked one on the premises of your life today--or any day! When he comes trick-or-treating, send JESUS to the door--and he MUST flee in the Name of the Lord.
You see, Satan can't compete with the Triune God I know--for the warmth of the Father's love blasts any chill Satan offers; the joy of the Son beats than any evil laugh he creates; and the power of the Holy Spirit bombs every evil scheme he plans. He's a goner! Jesus has conquered Satan and offers you today the love, joy, peace, forgiveness, grace, mercy, and eternal life that no devil in hell can match!
Believe it and may His glorious Light flood the darkness of the world this day--and every day! Have a great day--and don't eat all the chocolate; save some for me!
