Give a kid a car key and he will rule the world! So he thinks--and so Mom shrinks! You see, our 16-year-old son, Jason, is a new driver on the USA roads...well, maybe just the driveway, IF Mom can deal with it, that is! Sense a bit of parental fear as Mom hands over the car keys to a brand new driver to actually drive ALL BY HIMSELF somewhere/anywhere...
Now Mom may not be ready, but believe me, HE'S ready! As a matter of fact, he bought the key chain BEFORE he passed the test. No matter that the key chain says "Fred" and not "Jason"--but all the other Jasons in the world had already been to Branson ahead of us and bought all the Jason key chains! And so, in memory of Grandpa--whose name was "Alfred"--and with a big family grin--his namesake, Jason Alfred Bohanon, also known as "Fred," now is the proud owner of the key chain. No keys yet--but "Fred's" got the chain-- and Mom's got a funny story for her family history stored down deep in her heart!
Remember the day you handed over the keys of your life to Jesus Christ? Does He still hold them--with HIS Name on the chain? Don't be afraid to give Him ALL the keys...He's been there, He knows where He is going--and where He's going to take you. Hop in, fasten your seat belt--and let Him take the wheel--today and every day! He is the "world's best driver" and when He is in control of your life, you can rest assured you are in good, safe, strong hands. Believe it--watch out for any new drivers named Fred--and have a great day!
