Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way

Don't display a Scripture verse to the world unless you are ready to "live" it yourself! Last Friday's verse was "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24)." Last Thursday night, my local Internet Service Provider went on the blink; still down as of early Friday morning, as I sit here writing a devotional of encouragement for the world!

Now there HAS to be a devotional in this.....and would you believe, there IS! For our omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient Lord doesn't need an ISP connection from heaven's portals to reach you and me today. He is always there, always working on our behalf, always open to hear our cries. You don't need to leave "voice mail" nor find a tech support person to come to your aid. The angels of heaven stand behind the Almighty Lord of all--the best support crew in the world--they "encamp round about us" day and night--we're not left alone to handle it all by ourselves!

Thank God! If your ISP is working, be thankful; and if it's not, STILL be thankful. Heaven's connection always works--and it's working today for me--and for you, wherever in the world you live. It's powerful, purposeful, personal, and there to meet your need TODAY! Believe it--and have a great day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless, thou hearest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. Oh, love the Lord, all ye his saints; for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord (Psalm 31:22-24)."

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, You ask me to call and You are always there when I do. Thank You for a faithful, consistent "connection" whereby I can access the throne of God at any time of the night or day. You hear me THIS day--You work on my behalf--You have no "down time." You are my reliable, resourceful, Redeemer God--all-powerful, all-knowing and always there. Thanks for being there--I love You. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
