Never a dull moment at Peggie's REAL Place....and reality is to beeee STUNG by a bee or some such flying critter that invaded my yard while I was invading the weeds one day! Now I SHOULD have gotten out of there at the first sound of the "Bzzzzzz" but I stayed.....and I got stung! Moral of the story: when you see a bee, fleeeee!!
Isn't that just like sin? Satan buzzes around our premises with temptations of the mind, body, soul and spirit. Sometimes it's a temptation to sin; sometimes it's a thought to disturb; sometimes it's just plain old harrassment...and what do we do? Hang around--and he'll sting; resist--and he'll flee! How do we resist?
Sometimes WE have to run--far, far away from that temptation--mentally, physically, spiritually...sometimes we must stand our ground in firm faith as we fight the foe--and then HE flees! God will guide us in the strategy we must use...and when we obey, HE promises that the enemy MUST flee--when we call upon that Name, he must beeeeeee gone!
Now they say baking soda is supposed to help bee stings--but the battle stings of the enemy aren't fought with any kind of earthly remedy. They're fought and won when we wear the full armor of the Lord, the Sword of the Spirit in our hand, and heaven in our soul!
So next time "THE BEE" tries to sting you--tell him to beeee gone in the Name of the Lord, and keep on doing that "yard work" for the Lord, full armor on--I can see it now...what a sight....but better the sight than the sting!! Believe it--and have a great bee-free, bzzzz-free day in the Lord!

Lord, "the evil bee" is buzzing around in my mind, my soul, my spirit--and I need You. I need to be like You--fighting the enemy as You did, with the Word of God. Give me wisdom to resist or to run and in Your Name to see the devil flee from the premises. I am YOUR child and I claim complete victory, In Jesus' Name, Amen."
