Stale Bagels and Fresh Bread

Down the Path to the Well--a thought along the way!

I love bagels--did you ever taste a STALE one? Even gourmet cream cheese doesn't help it! Bread, rolls, pastry--all the "good stuff"--can be bought fresh daily--and oh, how good to our taste! But guess what--the Bread of Life is free and fresh every morning! It sustains my soul and refreshes my spirit. Let's go to the Well and be renewed this day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the water of His Word

"It is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22,23 KJV)."
Draw from the Well--a prayer for strength for this day!

"Lord, I'm hungry this day for the Living Bread of Life. Feed my soul as I meditate on Your Word today. And when I thirst, help me to take a moment to run to the Well where you await--faithfully--THIS day to quench my thirst and meet my need. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Have a great day--and remember there's nothing that will happen today
that you and your Lord cannot handle together!
