Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"Wise Guy!?!"

Today's Bible reading (International Bible Society): James 3:17-18 (NIV)

That's my son! Jason is a delightful, 5-year-old wise guy who's really 23, living in a little kid body! Or he is really 5-years-old, living in a 23-year-old body! Whatever - he is a scream and a real wise guy who brightens up my life. His "wisdom" sometimes leaves much to be desired, like the time he told Mama that he knows more about women than SHE does....now THAT's a wise guy!!

A "wise guy" is not necessarily wise, we all know THAT - but who is? Where does true wisdom originate? Thank God, it's from Him and not from our world. Ever hear some of the nutty, off-beat "wisdom" of our world? Don't believe a word--its so-called wisdom is downright wacky and seems to get worse every day.

You CAN trust the wisdom of an eternal, almighty, ever-knowing, ever-wise God. He is omniscient - He knows all, and He knows where you are this day. He knows how you feel and what you're thinking - He's not a "wise guy" in the slang of our world - He is the all-wise God who loves you and is with you. Now believe it and you will have a wonderful, God-filled, choco-rich day!!

PRAYER: "Lord, I am not wise enough to make monumental decisions - all by myself. I am not wise enough to know what to do, when to do it, the whys and wherefores of life, and so much more. But You are my all-wise, omniscient Father - and You know. I rely on YOU this day, in Jesus' Name, Amen."
