Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"Poor Little Rich Girl!?!"

Today's Bible reading (International Bible Society): Proverbs 30:7-9 (NIV)

Haven't won a free car, don't have an Armani wardrobe, won't be cruisin' the world this year - but I am rich! I have God's love, joy, peace, grace, mercy, abundance and favor and that diminishes any diamond or delight in the world. As the song goes, "The world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away!" Thank God - I am rich.....

And so are you....God has lavished His love on us all. Now sometimes when the bills come due, when the kids are sick, when you're in deep waters, He "feels" far away - but we don't live by feelings--we live by "every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God." That Word is our daily bread, straight from the Father's heart, who tells us, "I will never, never leave you; I will never, never forsake you."

I'm a poor little rich person - and so are you. We have His wealth beyond measure. Let's enjoy it; lay hold on whatever you need from His storehouse today, and you will have a wonderful, God-filled, choco-rich day!

PRAYER: "Lord, sometimes I grunt and I groan. I bemoan what I don't have and forget what I do have--in You. You are my love, my joy, my peace, my provision. You are my God. Give me from that daily bread storehouse all that I need for this day, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
