Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." "Run to the Tower of Strength!"

Daily Manna's Bible reading: Psalm 61:1-8 (NIV)

Running is not "my thing" - I've been run ragged long enough in my lifetime to look for the nearest rocker - and ROCK away! Sometimes we do all run - in circles - in a crisis or challenge (the politically-correct word now for PROBLEM!) - and of course, just like the rocker, we get no where. So what to do?

RUN - yes, when you can't run physically, you CAN run to the Rock Christ Jesus. He is our refuge - HE is our Tower of Strength and we can find relief, renewal and restoration for body, soul and spirit. His Word becomes a tower of strength in our need; His presence becomes a refuge and Rock in our crisis - how great is our God!

Immediately after the tragedy of 9/11, I felt impressed to begin a series of devotionals titled, "Tower of Strength," - and for today, no circles to run around, no rocking chairs wherein to rock, we are off and RUNNING spiritually to the Tower of Strength where He is waiting for all of us.
