Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"Run to Abba...Father's Day in the Fall!?!

Daily Manna's Bible reading: Jeremiah 3:19-22 (NIV)

Needing a father's love today - and it isn't even Father's Day?? Not to fear! There's a Heavenly Father looking down with love and compassion on YOUR world--up close and personal--and He reaches out across time and space today to say, "I love you. I care. I will help you. I will be with you."

Just like an earthly parent who cares for his kids, so our Lord, our "Abba Father--our "Daddy,"--watches over us, HIS kids, in each season of our lives. He knows what's going on--inside us, around us, above us, below us--He is everywhere--the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God who says, "Fear not, My child--I will never, never leave you; I will never, never forsake you--I am with you alway even unto the end of the world."

So what to do? It's Father's Day in heaven EVERY DAY! Run to Abba Father this day - this season of your life - let Him hold you and your family in His everlasting arms--arms of a REAL Dad--warm, consoling, comfortable, secure, loving and strong--HE cares for His family, HE loves His world--believe it and place your total trust in Him this day!

Now go outside and rake up all those leaves accumulating in your back yard......it's a good day, a good season, a good life - when you belong to the family of God!
