Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." "Kid for Sale!?!"

Daily Manna's Bible reading - Mark 3:7-12 (NIV)

Jason's aunt had just sent us a wooden plaque that read, "Kids for Sale!" I'll never forget the look - and subsequent tears - on little Jason's face. Here I was in hilarity - he was not. I saw his pain - and I quickly assured him and explained that Mommie would NEVER sell him - that it was a JOKE!

OK - admit it - there are days when we wouldn't give a nickel for them, but joyous days when we would not trade them for a million dollars!! Kids, you are precious to us. You give us much joy, but one thing is of prime importance: As we teach and you mature, may our examples be such that you will choose to serve the Lord we love....and if you choose not to, we will ever pray for you that you will return to Father's House, where we all belong.

That, and that alone, will bring us eternal joy - You are bought with a price, and no, we will not sell you - especially to the devil - at any cost! Believe it, kids of all ages - serve the God we love, and we will all have a wonderful, God-filled, never-aging, eternally young, choco-filled day!!

PRAYER: "Lord, I've got a wayward child today and my heart is heavy. Just as I gave him/her to you at birth, once again, I consciously commit this child into your safe-keeping. May your Holy Spirit "hound" him until he returns to the God we've taught him to serve - this child is in Your Hands, Lord, this day, In Jesus' Name, Amen."
