Today's Chocolate Chew: A Child of the Father

Sad to say, some dads are deadbeats. Their kids - if they even KNOW their dads - never hear a word of approval from the one they need the most. It's heartbreaking and it happens all over our world.
I know a world - a world of the Spirit - where no deadbeat dad lives. Instead, it's a world ruled by a Heavenly Father...a real dad, who says, "YOU are my beloved child in whom I am well pleased."
May the words of the Father to His Son Jesus ring in your ears as well, loud and strong, until you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have a Heavenly Father who is well pleased with you.
Believe it, chew on it, and you'll have a God-filled, choco-covered day!
PRAYER: "Lord, I need to hear those words of approval today. I've been downbeaten long enough and I reach out to grab onto this truth - YOU are my Heavenly Father and YOU are well pleased with me. Help me to live by that standard today and every day, in Jesus' Name, Amen."
