Daily Manna's Bible reading: Ephesians 1:3-6 (NIV)

Now, believe me, I am NOT a fashion designer, NOR do I have one--however, if I ever find a beauty on the bargain racks, you can be sure I buy it and wear it with great delight. Presidential women need not visit the bargain racks--can you imagine bumping into your favorite First Lady at your favorite consignment shop? What a funny thought! We want our First Ladies to look "designer-made"--and rightly so!

Each time I visit Washington, I MUST visit the breath-taking, lovely display of inaugural ball gowns at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. I'll never wear one, but what a delight to see! One more is on the way--we can read about the latest inaugural ball gown and the lovely lady who will wear it for the Inaugural Ball. Laura Bush will be bedecked in a deep red gown of Chantilly beaded lace, so I hear (see link below!)--and her fashion designer will beam with pride and great delight.

You and I may never wear an inaugural ball gown (or tux, guys!) fashioned by a designer of world renown; however, we have THE Fashion Designer who has created for each of us a spotless white robe of righteousness...It is without cost to us, paid for by the precious Blood of our Lord, designed by God Himself with flawless perfection. We radiate His love and grace to the world each day we wear it...and more! For we OURSELVES are designer-made, created in His image, one-of-a-kind, and dazzling in the Designer's eyes!

Remember, you are THE Fashion Designer's delight, a marvelous masterpiece of His grace...chosen by Him, and He's still in the business of designing lives today. He can pick up the tattered pieces of a broken life, put them together again and make "something beautiful" of your life....He's done it many times before--and He can do it again--for YOU! Now believe it--and have a beautiful day!
