Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

"In the Presence of the King!"

Daily Manna's Bible reading: Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV)

Elvis?? He's the "king" and this month marks the anniversary of his death. Have I ever been in HIS presence?? You gotta be kidding! Never been in the presence of a king, Elvis included! Closest connection would be watching a real Queen visit the States some time ago.....loved her hats, but that's the nearest you or I will ever be to royalty and the throne. Right?
Wrong! Dead wrong! We belong to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He requests us to come boldly to His throne of grace, and so we come, humbly, but in bold assurance that He will hold out the royal sceptre and receive us as His own.
Enjoy "In the Presence of the King", a Peggie's Place devotional of "royal decree"! Bow, un-burden your cares and find His blessings - as we, His people - the authentic King's Kids - gather at the throne of grace this day!
