Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

If you're old enough, you remember the daily, popular "Believe It or Not by Ripley" cartoons in your newspaper--strange feats and facts to catch your eye and bring grins--or groans. And if you've ever been to Branson, or elsewhere around the country, you'll find a "Believe It or Not" museum to tour--and the grins and groans go on and on, in unbelievable and remarkable exhibits.

Well, God's got a "Believe It or Not" Book that's a bestseller of all time--with some pretty incredible feats and facts all its own. You've heard them from Sunday school days--there's David and the Giant; Joshua and the Walls of Jericho; Jonah and the Big Fish; Daniel in the Lion's Den--on and on we could relate the remarkable stories and adventures we read in God's Word.

But beyond the stories lie some principles--and they're pretty incredible too. (1) Believe it or not, God loves you--He's Your Savior; (2) Believe it or not, God leads you--He's your Shepherd; (3) Believe it or not, God lifts you--He's your Good Samaritan. When we think of an awesome God reaching down to love us, lead us, lift us up, it's more incredible than any "believe it or not" exhibit on earth, Ripley included.

Think about it--for believe it or not--it's true! God's Word is true and Satan's word (he's the "guess who" if you've not figured it out yet!) is not worth a hill of beans! Believe it; now go have an incredible day as you see what your awesome God will do!
