Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...wherever in the world you live! I hear you're a chocoholic too - I won't tell a soul! Chocolate is good for the body - and God's Word is good for the soul: "O taste and see that the Lord is good...(Psalm 34:8 KJV)." So please join me for a few moments of fun, food and inspiration - it's all calorie-free (believe that and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge) and might even make your day!

It's Father's Day weekend in the USA and dads will be honored over TV, in church, at home and on the grill...OK, Dad, we know...it's hot dogs and steaks we put on the grill not YOU....chuckle....now how do I get out of the hole I just dug for myself...

Let's just move you over to the "grill of life" - life and living in this old, barbequed world of delight, danger and diet. There's room for us all.

Grills are HOT!
Grills are a gathering place for family fun - AND "fights"??
Grills have a chef in control of the food prep and process.

Sounds like the grill of life to me. Sometimes we smile on the outside, cry on the inside and burn up in our soul - with anger, hurt, bitterness and heartbreak. Sometimes the family fun turns into a family fight - that's when we call for the Master Chef. We have a heavenly Advocate who "watches and prays" before the Father and can keep it all under control - if we let Him.

I need the Master Chef in charge of my life, how about you?> You see, our Heavenly Father is ultimately in control of life's grill for each of us, from the cradle to the grave - we can trust Him and run to Him when life gets hot and bothered. Thank God!

Now Dad, the steaks (tube or real!) are sizzling - your family - and your Heavenly Father - watche and work to honor you today. It's YOUR day - we'll do the grill! Enjoy it and thank you for "watching and praying" for us all! We love you!
